How to Apply
Follow these steps to apply for admission to the University of Debrecen
1. Complete the Application Form
Download and fill out the official Application Form carefully.
2. Submit Your Application
Send your completed application along with the required supporting documents (as listed in the Application Checklist) via:
• Registered mail, or
• Email
Note:
Official transcripts are not initially required for admission, but must be submitted before registration.
3. Attend the Entrance Exam and Interview
If your application is accepted, you will be invited to:
• Sit for an entrance examination
• Participate in a personal interview
(Applies to both high school graduates and university-level applicants)

Transfer Applicants – Medical Programs
Students wishing to transfer from another medical university must:
• Attend a personal entrance interview
• Await the final decision from the Admissions Committee
The interview is a mandatory part of the transfer process.
Important Notes on Subject Exemption Requests
• Any request for subject exemptions (based on prior studies) must be submitted at the time of application.
• No exemption requests will be accepted after registration.
• If an applicant fails to declare previous studies, they forfeit the right to apply for subject exemptions and must follow the full curriculum as outlined by the university.
